WooCommerce Payment Gateway

Overview​

Banksy is a custom WooCommerce payment gateway plugin that enables secure and seamless payment processing on your WooCommerce store.

Installation​

1. Upload the Plugin​

  1. Download the plugin as a .zip file from here.
  2. Go to your WordPress dashboard.
  3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  4. Choose the banksy-payment-gateway.zip file and click Install Now.
  5. Activate the plugin.

Note. Reference banksy-woocommerce all releases.

2. Manual Installation​

  1. Download the plugin as a .zip file and extract it.
  2. Upload the extracted banksy-payment-gateway folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.

Configuration​

Woocommerce Config

  1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.
  2. Locate the "Banksy" payment gateway and click "Manage".
  3. Configure the following settings:
    • Enable/Disable: Enable or disable the Banksy payment gateway.
    • API Key: Enter your Banksy API key. (Get it from your Banksy Dashboard.)
  4. Save your settings.

Usage​

Woocommerce Usage

Once the plugin is configured, the Banksy payment option will be available on the WooCommerce checkout page. Customers can select this option to pay securely using Banksy.

Customization​

  • Title & Description: These are static values displayed on the checkout page. The title is set to "Banksy", and the description is "Pay securely using Banksy."

Troubleshooting​

If you encounter any issues:

  • Ensure that your API key is correct and that the Banksy service is active.
  • Check your WooCommerce error logs under WooCommerce > Status > Logs for any error messages related to the Banksy payment gateway.
